Your journal appears here.

Nothing is sent to JournalFold. Open a local export or use the built-in sample.

03

Leave with open files

The original export remains untouched. Each output is generated only when you choose it.

Private by architecture

Parsing, search and export happen in your browser. Journal text, tags, locations and attachments are excluded from product measurement.

Honest about limits

The current browser build accepts up to 500 MB. Very large media libraries should use a JSON-only export first. Unsupported Day One fields remain in the original file.

Not a repair service

JournalFold cannot fix an empty or corrupted export. It reports what it can parse and never overwrites your source archive.
